As part of its preparation for the “new normal” educational setup, Malvar Senior High School applied for G Suite for Education last June.
On July 4, it qualified for the license as a non-profit educational institution after being able to comply with Google’s requirements and it was eventually provided with the domain “shsinmalvar.org.”
After activation, the school’s Web Admin team designed the framework for the school’s organizational unit and provided individual school account for 45 teaching personnel, 4 non-teaching personnel and 1,546 currently enrolled students under the domain “@shsinmalvar.org”. These school accounts will be used to access google applications provided under the license such as Gmail, Classroom, Docs, etc.
Through this G Suite for Education, virtual classrooms are possible where tracking of the learning process is made easier and more convenient. Also, communicating with members of the organization becomes more exclusive keeping school data in control access and secured all in one place.
