Out of 1326 presenters, the team of Dr. Jhomar C. Sor, Dr. Apolonio A. Villanueva, and Mr. Romeo L. Mendoza, Jr. of Senior High School in Malvar has been selected as one of the 67 finalists in the 2018 Conference of Basic Education Researchers (CBER) Southeast Asia held at Animo Center, De La Salle Medical and Health Science Institute in Dasmariñas, Cavite, Nov. 27-29.
Their research paper entitled "Quality Management of Human Resource as Outcome of Practicing School-Based Management: Basis for Strategizing a Localized Resource Plan and Policy" investigated the perceived extent of practicing school-based management in terms of school leadership and governance, curriculum and learning, accountability and continuous improvement, management of resources and monitoring, and assessment procedure and the extent of SBM to the level of quality management of human resources in school operations.
